We made it! Although it was hard to leave the hospital, we finally came home. They put me in the "Princess" suite at the hospital. The room was AMAZING!! Besides being huge, it was extremely nice. Not to mention, I didn't have to share with anybody. One of the walls was solid windows so we had the most beautiful view. The staff was great and I loved getting waited on hand and foot. There is something about being home that makes this whole thing all real. I thought once I had the baby I would stop worrying about all the little things pregnant women worry about. HOWEVER, now it is a thousand times worse. I swear my child is yellow, I'm worried his belly button is infected, and his poor little wiener has been mutilated! I started bawling when I saw it right after the circumcision, I couldn't help it, it looks so bad. Besides all the drama I've conjured in my head everything is going well. Thank you everyone for your comments and support!

K you are just like every other first time mom. its ok to be paranoid about your 1st baby!!! The circumcision was horrible for us too. Dusty didnt want to change his the bum at all cuz he couldnt look at his area. haha. But everything will be great and you are going to be an excellent mom. Have so much fun!!!
WELCOME TO MOTHERHOOD! haha. just baby his "pee pee" (as vance says) and it will be fine. It is only red for like 7 days and then it is fine! he is so chubby! Vance was so jaundice that he had to stay in the hospital another day and sleep in one of those funny tanning beds!
i love it!! he's not yellow, he looks good! i love the dora book..
What the heck, your freaking me out. I'm already the most paranoid person ever, I can't imaging once I have a kid. Seriously, I'm hyperventilating just thinking about it! Yikes, I'm not ready!
But, seriously Amy he is so cute! I love it!
Ok I am going on to my 4th kid...and I still worry about my kids, but let me do my job at reassuring you that he's fine. Just make sure any chance you get to clean his belly button, that you do...I am saying at every diaper changing. And don't be afraid to really take the q-tip w/ alcohol and clean around it. You will not hurt him. You want to keep it dry...and then one day it will proballly magically be in his diaper because it will have fallen off. Secondly, all of my kids were a little jaundice for a week or so. You guys are doing just what you should...Sun, but just don't burn him!! As long as he is eating and happy he's fine. He really is a beautiful chubby guy. I just want to squeeze him. I remember when Dallan was born (he was 8lbs. 10oz.) he was so beautiful the moment I saw him. I love chubby babies. Landon is probally a great eater. You are doing great...cute cute cute! And I love your car seat!! Oh, thank goodness they don't remember their wiener surgery:)
Glad I haven't had to deal with wieners yet. I'm happy with my girls. They come out all set to go.
Yeah! Congratulations! He is soooo cute.
Okay...he's such an adorable baby! It freaks me out that there are more worries to come. I thought it was bad enough going nuts worrying about all that could happen during my pregnancy, is that normal or am I just starting early on the "freaking out" part of motherhood? But he really is adorable...
Good idea putting him in the sun to avoid jaundice! Anaston had it and we had to stay longer in the hospital, no fun! So I've really seen yellow and he looks good to me! Not yellow:)
um, i guess your baby is ok.
