shootin' up

Sam works doubles every other weekend. This was his weekend off, so we took advantage! Saturday morning, Sam and his brothers wanted to go shooting, so I invited myself and tagged along! It was such a nice day and they basically have a shooting range in their backyard, talk about convenient. I was forced to shoot the shotgun, good thing it only holds 3 shells! It's heavy, loud, and kicks around all over the place. NO, I did not hit any clays. But Sam did! He and his brothers are really good! I was impressed. I did get in trouble a couple of times for not obeying "the rules" (something to do with crossing a line drawn in the dirt, oh and not waving the gun around). What a great source of cheap entertainment. I actually had fun just watching, but maybe next time I'll actually hit the stupid thing!

We cannot wait to see you guys. It looks like you are having such a good time in St. George. We can't wait to go to Walmart again and paparazi the pligs with you. Your pictures of Lando are so cute. It is still quite weird to us that you have a kid. Can't wait to meet him. We love you.

I went shooting 1 time. I didn't like the loud noise. The other time I touched a gun was when dad was in school and working an all night job and a pervert called. I decided to protect myself and Emmalee by placing the pistol next to the bed. When dad got home he said I had the pin or plug or something in backwards. So, I guess I'll stick to the piano and sewing.

Thanks for the advice. We are going to the doctor today so hopefully we can get him breathing better. Last night was a nightmare! I seriously a few times thought he wasn't going to be able to inhale. His breathing even woke Derrick up. Scary. Hopefully the doctor can help us out.

To everyone reading this, I can honestly say that having the kids here has been so fun. Although we are all working, we still have some fun and try to keep busy. Amy is so talented and creative. I love her book, she is a wonderful Mommy and a great cook. My family has never eaten so well. They will miss her good cooking!!! They just mention the move and I cry just thinking I will miss that chubby baby soooo much! but I will share with Lari, Ha!
